God's help through the power of prayer is available for all kinds of requests and issues. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Whether you are ill, unemployed, experiencing family or financial problems or sad through the loss of a loved one, the MBC prayer team would like to pray for you.
Prayer is effective, even if answers seem slow in coming. Remember, God is firmly in control and encourages us to bring our needs and the needs of others to him.

Many MBC members can provide testament to the power of prayer, making it an important part of church life. The ‘Seven: 14’ Prayer Group meet every Wednesday evening in church at 7:14 pm, and operate a prayer chain at all other times in support of each other and the wider community.
Our prayer meeting takes its name from 2 Chronicles 7:14 - look it up. Click here>>
Below are some themes that have been chosen for prayer during the coming year.
If you are able to come on a Wednesday night, you will be very welcome. Don’t worry about having to ‘pray out loud’ if you don’t want to, your very presence at the 7.14 is an encouragement and your ‘silent prayer’ is also very valuable!
The prayer group meets every Wednesday evening from 7.14 to 8.14 pm why don’t you join in – or start your own group at a time that suits – a good prayer life shows the church is in good health.
A prayer meeting is also held in The Living Room, Woodside after every Messy Church afternoon.
